cbchurch.org.uk is striving to be "A church building community, where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord." This simply means as a Church building community we desire to be a people at the centre of our community, serving the community around us, enabling people, enriching lives and empowering individuals to live to their full potential.
This can only happen when God's community are engaging the community it's placed in with the gospel in relavent ways. As we do our belief is that God's kingdom will be built within the community which were placed. Bringing faith, hope and love though the power of the gospel.
Where everybody is somebody, in a world where people hang great credance upon status and image, to which only the select few belong, we believe that everybody is of infinate worth, because they are made in the image of God.
We desire people to be reconnected to their image bearer. Sadly as we look around our communities we see a different story, we see an image defaced not by God but by sin and humanity which is in rebellion against God. Even so God is active in addressing this issue.

Everbody is searching for meaning and significance to life. cbchurch.org.uk is a place where that search can really begin and be enjoyed. A place where people are reponding to the gospel (good news) as a result we can be released from our past, present and future sins and enabled through the grace of God to live for the first time to our God given potential. In Christ alone we find our true identity and purpose in life.
Finally we are a community of people where Jesus Christ is our Saviour and Lord. We have encountered a relatioship with Jesus not another religion. Through his death and resurrection we have embraced and recieved forgiveness and new life, Jesus has made a radical difference in this life, and of course the bonus of the one to come.
We are not a bunch of clones either, but are all different from a diversity of backgrounds yet Jesus has brought us together in partnership to make Him known. Our desire now is to glorify Him and enjoy Him right now and forever.
